- Former 1991 and 1992 Toughman Contest Champion.
- Former 2x Gold Medallist,3x Middleweight and Light Heavyweight World Kickboxing Champion for the WKA, WKC and WKO and the only person to unify these three sanctioning bodies titles.
- Holds a Psychology Degree and received a Bachelors in Business from Medaille College in 2000 and received a Masters in Edcuation in 2005.
- Is an accomplished Boxer and KickBoxer and holds Black Belts in five different Martial Arts including Tae Kwon Do, Mantis Kung Fu and Isshinryu Karate.
- Performed in the Musical "Anything Goes" with Tony Award winner Debbie Shapiro Gravite and Tony nominee Ray Demattis in 1993.
- Coached and trained fighters for the first 7 Ultimate Fighting Championships, King of the Cage, International Fighting Championship and Combat Zone as well as being an alternate himself.
- Chief Referee for Fox Sports Network FX Channels Toughman Championship Series for five seasons.
- Pro Martial Arts Hall of Fame Inductee.
