Stephen Bliss started his career in 1986 when he became an in-house designer for eccentric Japanese fashion label Hysteric Glamour.
On his return to London (1990) he found homes for his quirky, hard-edged art style at Burton Snowboards, FCUK, Wall of Sound Records, Massive Attack, MTV, Nintendo, Pepsi, Sony,
The Face, GQ, Arena, i-D and the Sunday Times.
As Senior Artist at Rockstar Games in New York, Bliss created the original promotional artwork
(2001-2007) for the Grand Theft Auto video game series. He also worked on painting and designing promotional artwork for games such as The Warriors (2005), Bully (2006), Red Dead Redemption (2010) and LA Noire (2011).
He continues to work on personal projects and contributes artwork to collective shows in New York and London.
