- Born in Bloomington, Indiana.
- Niece of actor John Randolph Jones. Two of her aunts are also actresses.
- Biked on a 1,000 mile bike trip that lasted for 12 days from Southern Indiana through Michigan and to Niagara Falls, Canada, and enjoys doing half marathons.
- Her maternal great great grandfather, Henry Renno Heyl, invented the first camera to show pictures in motion in 1870 - the "Heyl Phasmatrope". The first exhibition of the Phasmatrope was that of a waltz, synchronized to orchestral music, and presented to an audience of 1,600 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In the late 1800's, he was an inventor of many things that we use today, including the stapler.
- Loves Indy Car racing and the Indy 500 - has attended several years of it.
- Grew up driving classic cars and attending several classic car auctions each year because her father was a classic car auctioneer, appraiser and author of the book "C.A.R. VALUES". Her mother's work was primarily working to improve the quality of life for those with disabilities.
- Her maternal great grandfather, Paul R. Heyl, was an accomplished physicist. In 1930, he determined the most accurate measurement ever made, and still to date, of the constant of gravitation (cavendish method). He also invented the Earth Inductor Compass. Charles Lindbergh used used an improved version of this compass on his flight across the Atlantic in 1927.
- Is an active volunteer with Make A Film Foundation. Make A Film Foundation grants film wishes to children with serious or life-threatening medical conditions, helping them to create short film legacies by teaming them with noted actors, directors and writers.
- Is an active volunteer with Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation. Has a close family member living with paralysis.
- Member at Ruskin Group Theatre and the Ruskin School of Acting 2 year Meisner Program.
- Started casting in 2006 as in intern for Johanna Ray.
- Travels to Washington D.C. every year to advocate on issues facing people with disabilities. Former intern staffer for a U.S. Senator.
