Biography

Billy MacCartney grew up in a small town near Huntsville, Texas. Since moving to Austin in 2001, he has worked in nearly every department of film and video production, eventually deciding to focus on directing, cinematography and lighting. He is a proud member of Local 484 as an electrician and grip, and in his spare time he enjoys directing and shooting his own projects, playing drums for a local punk band and drinking an inhuman amount of coffee.
