A Michigan native, Brett Rigby is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Theatre Performance. Upon earning his degree, Brett moved to New York City where he was an actor and performer for over a decade.
In 2009, Brett returned to the academic world and received his Master of Music Degree from New York University's distinguished Steinhardt School with an Advanced Certification in Vocal Pedagogy. A member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and the Voice Foundation, Brett served as Adjunct Voice Faculty at NYU for over seven years and is an advisor for Broadway Artists Alliance. From 2016 - 2020, Brett taught NYU Steinhardt's Business Skills courses for graduating seniors and second-year Master students, in addition to producing their annual industry showcase. With an emphasis on musical theatre and pop-rock vocalism, Brett continues to teach, coach, and work with both students and professionals in the industry.
Brett joined CGF Talent in 2013 and is a Partner and Talent Agent in association with the firm's three founding partners, representing actors on television, in film, on Broadway, as well as stages across the country.
