Get an exclusive, first-hand recap from the show's stylist, Daniel Musto! He filled us in on how all the magic comes together behind-the-scenes while we're watching at home! As a wardrobe stylist on a huge television show, I become friendly with the other beauty departments, but don't often have much time with them. Julianne Kaye, with Maybelline doing makeup, and Theodore Leaf, with Suave doing hair, were Fashion Star's other department heads. Tonight, we decided to watch the show together, which was tough because we had So much to say about each of our experiences. It was exciting to hear the drama that was happening in other areas of our set, while I was knee-deep in shoes in my office! Theodore Leaf, Suave Professionals Lead Stylist for Fashion Star, tells HollywoodLife.com about working on the show, his styling essentials and why You need to try the braiding trend. What is it like working on Fashion Star? "The Suave Professionals team is in charge of doing all the models and the buyers as well. We never kick off models, so the show just grows and grows. My team is responsible for no less than 50 looks per episode. It's a very intense pressure cooker back there." How do you come up with the ideas for each show's look? "I would see pictures of the clothes or I'd see the clothes myself and the makeup artist, Jules, and I would collaborate.

He addresses the outburst from Nicholas and why he was sent packing while also weighing in on the buyers and judges! My first thought when watching the pilot episode of Fashion Star on NBC was, "Every single tween viewer is going to wear a home-made version of Nicole Richie's headpiece to school tomorrow." My following thought was, "I am so grateful to be attached to such a groundbreaking television phenomenon." You can see the winning product on the show tonight and wear it tomorrow! I am still amazed that this is finally possible. As the wardrobe stylist for the show, I nitpick everything I created, while enjoying surprises that I didn't catch backstage. This includes all the footage of Theodore Leaf in Suave and Julianne Kaye in Maybelline. I didn't have a lot of...
