Bill grew up in Greenburgh, New York and graduated from Woodlands High
School in the Central Seven School district in Westchester County, NY
which was desegregated four years before Brown v. Board of Education.
Today he divides his time between his homes in Albany, New York ,
Purchase, New York and Shanghai, China.
He's been acting in organized amateur productions since he was 8. As an
undergraduate he studied theater at the State University of New York,
College at Purchase, though not as part of the theater department. He
dropped out at age 20 to start a career in broadcasting which
eventually took him to China where he has reported for clients as
varied as American Public Media's Marketplace, PRI's The World, France
24, Fox News Radio, and Fox News.
Bill eventually returned to college. Today he holds a bachelor's degree
in Political Science and a Masters in Education.
As an actor and a model Bill can often be seen in Shanghai on local
television and film. He is unmarried.
