Kristen Bell is set to star in a new comedy called The Lifegaurd, which was written and being directed by Liz W. Garcia. According to Deadline, "Bell will play Leigh, a reporter on the verge of 30 who abandons her life in New York City, returns home to get her high school job as a lifeguard, and starts a dangerous relationship with a 16-year-old delinquent." Yeah... that should be an interesting movie, and that's going to be one lucky 16-year-old kid. I never thought I'd see Bell play a ephebophile, but here we are.
Daniel Radcliffe and Zoe Kazan have been cast to star along side each other in a romantic comedy called The F Word. Accroding to THR, "F Word takes a comedic look into the lives of two twentysomethings who meet at a party and hit it off." I don't know why but I never thought I would see Radcliffe in a romantic comedy,...

Just when you thought Green Day had faded into obilivion, they enter back into the spotlight – and usually in a major way. It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly a decade since their American Idiot album, which led to mash-ups, Broadway shows and even an upcoming Tom Hanks-produced feature film. They’re now ready to release not one, not two, but three albons (¡Uno!, ¡Dos! and ¡Tre!), beginning this September and now they’ve got two documentaries in the pipeline.
Speaking with Billboard, frontman Billie Joe Armstrong revealed that Tim Lynch (who collaborated with the band on their concert DVD Green Day: Bullet in a Bible) and Tim Wheeler (editor of the fantastic tour documentary The White Stripes Under Great White Northern Lights) are working together on the two films, one of which will give a behind-the-scenes looking at the making of their trio of albums. The other will go way back,...

They’re a punk rock band from the late 80s named after their great love of sweet Mary Jane, but during their 25-year history Green Day developed much loftier ambitions for their music. After releasing American Idiot back in 2004 (which spawned a Broadway musical and now has a film adaptation in the works) and 21st Century Breakdown in 2009, the band is now planning to release three new albums between September 2012 and January 2013. The film-related news accompanying those three albums -- titled ¡Uno!, ¡Dos! and ¡Tre! -- is that two documentaries will be made to go alongside their release. Filmmakers Tim Lynch (the producer of the band’s Live DVD “Green Day: Bullet in a Bible”) and Tim Wheeler (who worked on “The White Stripes Under Great White Northern Lights”) are creating one documentary on the making of the trio of albums, and a second which will be made up from...

A music video filmed to support Jonas Brothers' new single called "Paranoid" has made its way out. Directed by Brendan Malloy and Tim Wheeler, it shows Kevin Jonas being confused when walking into a room full of his clones, Joe Jonas freaking out when suddenly appearing in the middle of a wrestle game, and Nick Jonas getting paranoid when he is joined by several girls in the desert.
"Paranoid" is the first single from Jonas Brothers' upcoming fourth studio album "Lines, Vines and Trying Times". The track is mostly performed by Nick, rather than the usual leading singer Joe. Produced by John Fields, it has got radio airplays since May 8 and has been available for digital download starting on May 12.
"Lines, Vines and Trying Times" itself is set for worldwide release on June 16. It will include "Fly With Me", a song set to be heard at the end...
