Alexa was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. She moved several times in her
youth, being a "military brat," with the main constant being her love
of the arts and passion for acting on stage and in film.
Graduated in 2012 from the highly selective drama program at the
University of North Carolina School of the Arts. She was a National
Semi-Finalist at The English Speaking Union's National Shakespeare
Competition held at Lincoln Center in New York City, and attended the
North Carolina Governor's School Summer Conservatory for theater in
2011. Alexa was invited to speak at TEDx Raleigh and spoke about female
roles in Shakespeare's plays. A Merit Award Winner of the Young Arts
Award given by the National Foundation for the Advancement of the Arts
for Theater.
