From his life in Los Angeles producing performance art, playing in numerous live bands and composing electronic music as well as the influence of his mother, an extraordinary concert pianist, to now living in France, Robert has developed a signature sound all his own.
Robert studied orchestration with Hummie Mann in Edinburgh Scotland at the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program, studio production and mixing at London Institute of Sound Engineering, Ohio State University School of Music, and Musicians Institute. Robert has co-composed with Cliff Martinez, an old friend, on films such as Severe Clear and Espion(s). - Robert Charles Mann has been working with Brad Pitt since 2008 as photographic printer producing Pitt's archive of personal black and white photographs. Pitt still only shoots on black and white film. While in search of an expert in silver based photography, Pitt discovered Mann through the Herb Ritts Foundation. Mann has quite an extensive history in photography and to this day is still producing exhibitions of his work.
