Welcome back to another review of Aew Dark: Elevation, which features seven matches on the card And is the 100th episode of the show… however we get no celebration, no rejoicing, just another YouTube show with regulars Paul Wight and Matt Menard on commentary, joined once again by Roh’s Ian Riccaboni. So let’s get into the review!
Match #1: Red Velvet def. Billie Starkz
My Thoughts: What a cracking start to this week’s Elevation. Red Velvet and Billie Starkz put on a great competitive match that made Bille Starkz look good in defeat and was a great showcase for Red Velvet – who’s surely going to be the one to, given recent events, dethrone Jade Cargill? Loved this one.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Dark Order (John Silver and Alex Reynolds) def. The Workhorsemen (Jd Drake and Anthony Henry)
My Thoughts: Two great tag teams going at it,...

Welcome back to another review of Aew Dark: Elevation, which this week keeps the match count low, with only 6 matches on this week’s card! We’ve got Matt Menard and Paul Wight on commentary, so let’s get into the review.
Match #1: Marina Shafir def. Jazmin Allure
My Thoughts: Shafir dominated this match, squashing Allure in less than two minutes. Short and sweet but very effective.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Emi Sakura and The Bunny def. Lady Bird Monroe and Gigi Rey
My Thoughts: Another squash match. Not much to say about this one other than Emi Sakura and The Bunny made for a good team – both of them have evil streaks that really added to the storytelling of this one.
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #3: Top Flight (Dante and Darius Martin), Ethan Page, Matt Hardy, Isiah Kassidy and Konosuke Takeshita def. The Trustbusters and...

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which features only six matches on the card this week (thankfully I do love a shorter show)… On with the review!
Match #1: Dalton Castle & The Boys def. Justin Corino, Jaden Valo, & Defarge
My Thoughts: Aew roll out the Roh talent once again given that we’re headed towards the Roh: Final Battle pay per view. Its always great seeing Dalton Castle & The Boys in action even if they’re technically squashing their opponents – it’s still glorious seeing them do their stuff!
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Abadon def. Leva Bates
My Thoughts: Two of Aew’s most under-utilised talents get to go head to head in action and it’s great action too. Honestly, it’s a crying shame that these two don’t get more TV time, even on Aew’s YouTube shows.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #3: Brian Cage def.

It’s Monday, so you know what that means, it’s time for this week’s review of Aew: Rampage! This week’s show was broadcast from the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois and featured Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Jim Ross on commentary. Now let’s get to the review…
Match #1: Roh Tag Team Championship Match – Ftr (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) def. Top Flight (Dante & Darius Martin) The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
Dax and Darius locked up, with Darius taking Dax to the mat. Dax fired back with a shoulder tackle and scoop slam. Dax dropped a leg and tagged in Cash. Cash Wheeler clobbered Darius with chops and a European uppercut. Darius used his speed and tagged out to younger brother Dante. Cash caught Dante with three consecutive shots. Dante got a blind tag to Darius. Top Flight hit their next level tandem offense, with Darius...

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which emanates from Aew Universal once again. We’ve got Taz and Excalibur on commentary as usual, so let’s get to the action!
Match #1: The Renegade Twins def. Rocky Radley & Allie Recks
My Thoughts: The Renegade Twins get to face the enhancement talent rather than Be the enhancement talent? What a shocker. And they got some decent competition in Radley and Recks (that’s actually one hell of a tag team name Imho), making this another… let’s say it together… Aew quasi-squash match!
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #2: Anthony Ogogo def. Meto
My Thoughts: This was Anthony Ogogo doing his usual thing of playing with his opponent, this time for longer than usual. I do wonder where Ogogo’s career can go beyond these kinds of matches?
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #3: Peter Avalon & Ryan Nemeth def. Adrian Alanis...

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew: Dynamite, which was broadcast live from the Target Center in Minneapolis, and is a special “Quake By the Lake” episode… We’ve Tony Schiavone, Excalibur, Jr and Taz on commentary, so let’s get to the review!
Match #1: Coffin Match – Darby Allin def. Brody King The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
Darby Allin ambushed Brody King out of the darkness before the bell rang! Darby cracked Brody over the back with a skateboard that was lined with thumbtacks. Darby busted Brody wide open with the skateboard to the forehead. Brody King went outside to collect himself and then hurled Darby over the time keeper’s table into the steel guardrail! Darby fired back with an Avalanche Code Red on Brody King, sending Brody back into the ring. Darby tried to pull the deadweight of Brody toward the coffin, but Brody...

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which emanates from Grand Rapids, Michigan – which means this was taped at the same time as this past weekend’s Battle of the Belts special. We’ve got Taz and Excalibur on commentary as usual so let’s get to the action!
Match #1: Private Party, The Butcher & The Blade def. Isaiah Broner, James Alexander, Brayden Lee, & Sam Moore
My Thoughts: So we open Dark with an 8-man quasi-squash match. Hey, at least Private Party, The Butcher & The Blade are getting “TV” time right? Right..? It seems both teams are floundering somewhat after the end of the Hfo/Ahfo so to see them in action is good, even more so when the in-ring action is good too!
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Anna Jay A.S. def. Megan Meyers
My Thoughts: Anna Jay gets a new name and new attitude… Hopefully her...

Ring of Honor is back again for another pay-per-view, this time Death Before Dishonor, which sees all but one match on the main card be a title match! Talk about putting it all on the line… Let’s get to it.
Roh: Zero Hour Pre-show Match #1: Colt Cabana def. Anthony Henry The following is courtesy of ringofhonorwrestling.com:
Anthony Henry was making his Ring of Honor debut tonight. Henry ignored Colt’s attempt at a handshake and recognizing the Code of Honor. Henry and Cabana displayed beautiful chain wrestling. Henry clubbed Cabana with forearms. Anthony Henry blocked a sunset flip from Colt and then wrenched Colt’s neck. Henry mounted Colt and ground and pounded him. Henry took Colt off his feet with a thrust kick to the midsection. Henry locked Colt in the bow-and-arrow but Colt escaped. Cabana was riled up after Henry kicked “Boom Boom” in the chest.

Another episode of Aew: Dark, which this week features fourteen, yes Fourteen(!), matches. Though this show has also gone back to the traditional format after last week’s tremendous show which showcased two matches filmed internationally… I fear no Dark may ever live up to last weeks… Especially not one crammed with 14 matches like the old pandemic days!
Match #1: Jora Johl def. Luke Sampson
My Thoughts: Poor Jora Johl, it really looked like he was being set up to be a big star, with a future turn against Matt Hardy probably propelling him up the Aew card. Then Jeff hardy joined Aew and the Hfo disbanded and Johl has been seemingly forgotten. Though he has out in some decent time on Aew’s YouTube shows, it feels like he’s fallen into the Factory/Dark Order trap – win against jobbers on YouTube, Be the jobber of Dynamite/Rampage!

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation, we’ve got Tony Schiavone, Paul Wight and Mark Henry on commentary and an 8-match, still sub 50 minutes, card this week… Let’s get right into the review and the action!
Match #1: Leyla Hirsch def. Ella Envy
My Thoughts: Leyla Hirsch opens the show! Love to see it. Hirsch demolished her opponent in this one, in a clear squash match that legitimised (pun intended) Hirsch’s new nasty, hard-hitting, nature. It’s times like this that sqash matches Do work!
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #2: Brock Anderson & Lee Johnson def. The Factory (Qt Marshall & Aaron Solo)
My Thoughts: Cracking tag team action from Brock Anderson and Lee Johnson. The former is really coming along in terms of skill and presentation, leaning into his resemblance to his father in looks And movies now. Qt Marshall did his usual shtick,...

Match #1: Aew World Championship Match – “Hangman” Adam Page def. Dante Martin The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
They began with a handshake. They quickly locked up and Page took down Dante with a shoulder tackle. Dante fired back with a dropkick to Page’s mouth. Dante hit a springboard press off the ropes but “Hangman” held on and used a fallaway slam on Dante! “Hangman” hurled himself over the top rope with a body press to Dante Martin on the arena floor. Back in the ring, Dante flipped over Page’s back. Dante smashed into Page with pinpoint accuracy with a moonsault to the outside! Dante jumped off the...
