- Grégory Ravary Ellis was born on May 13th, 1994, in Basel, Switzerland to parents, British born father David Ellis and French Canadian mother Linda Ravary, who married in 1990. Grégory and his family moved to the US, when Grégory was 9 months old. He attended a French school during his elementary years, so he is fluent in French and in English.
His first feature film was The Caller (2008) starring Elliot Gould and Frank Langella playing Lulu young Elliott Gould from Writer/Director Richard Ledes, which was filmed in New York.
Other credits include Tom of Warwick in "Camelot" with Debbie Boone, "Tosca" for The Opera Company of North Carolina and "The Music Man" with Tom Wopat. He also landed the principal role of Tommy, as the youngest member of Clay Aiken and his Joyful Noise 2005 Christmas Tour.

- After auditioning for the 'Clay Aiken' "Joyful Noise Christmas Tour", he found out he got the part when special guest 'Clay Aiken' dropped by his school to announce it to Grégory himself.
- Landed his first professional engagement in "Tosca" Opera when he was in his first semester at the North Carolina Theatre Conservatory. During the final show of his semester his performance was noticed by the Director of The North Carolina Theatre, Wally Jones and the Artistic Director of the Conservatory, Ray Walker, who asked him to audition for the principal role of "Tom of Warwick" in their upcoming production of "Camelot".
- He spends his summers in England and Canada and attended an International Summer Camp where he earned the "Campeur du séjour" title, for demonstration the best participation and attitude during the session.
