Actor Lance Gideon started his career on the opposite side of the
camera as a Comedy Promoter for notable comedians such as Kym Whitley,
JB Smoov, Bill Bellamy, Tommy Davidson and The African King of Comedy
Michael Blackson just to name a few. After a successful run behind the
scenes as a promoter, Lance decided to explore a career in front of the
lens as an Actor/Model. In his first role he was cast as a featured
football player, #20 Johnny Outlaw, in a movie titled "Invincible"
starring Mark Wahlberg. After completion of the film Lance tried out
for a television show in NYC entitled "So you want to be a Soap Star"
in which he was one of the top three finalists. He then decided to seek
more opportunities which ultimately lead to countless print campaign
ads, several regional/national commercials & also booked starring roles
in the films Brooklyn Rain & The Tested. Lance recently moved west &
has successfully transitioned and has been well received in the LA
market. He studies at PW Acting Studio in the Master Class under the
direction of Peter Wise in North Hollywood, Calif. With the wide range
of characters that Lance portrays he has booked over 50 jobs to date
and his future is limitless!.
