Anna Trepekli
Anna Trepekli is in the first year of I.B., and is an honors student.
She attends her school choir and has sung with Vicky Leandrou in the
Herod Atticus Theater. She plays drums and piano. She likes writing
songs with her sister. She is a committed swimmer (she has gold silver
and bronze medals for backstroke in the whole of Attica), and also
loves soccer and basketball. She has a red belt in Tae-Kwan-Do. She was
elected twice in the student government of her school, and three times
president of her class. She is on her school's debate team, and has
gotten second place in impromptu speaking amongst 30 schools. She also
received first prize for a school history project and won a trip to
Cyprus. In addition she got the second prize for an essay in a national
competition for an essay she wrote about returning the Elgin Marbles to
Greece. Last year she won the first prize for the international
Anti-smoking competition for a picture she and her sisters took. Every
second weekend she voluntarily works for a veterinarian.
