Jim Benson has been voice talent and an on-air personality for the past
decade.
Jim has done commercial work for the Television Academy of Arts &
Sciences (The Emmy Awards) and many local advertisers. For several
years, Jim has hosted the acclaimed internet radio broadcast TV Time
Machine, a show about television history, on which he has interviewed
luminaries such as Mel Brooks, Peter Falk, director Guillermo Del Toro,
Matthew Weiner (Mad Men) and many others.
Jim has contributed to a wide variety of television programs, including
productions for TV Land, Nick at Nite, CBS Entertainment, and The
Mystery Channel.
In 1997, Jim co-authored Rod Serling's Night Gallery: An After-Hours
Tour, hailed as one of the finest books ever written about a television
series, and served as creative consultant on the Mystery Channel's
Night Gallery documentary, The Art of Darkness.
