- Auditioned several times for an androgynous character for the feature film "Person of Interest," but the role eventually went to a male actor. Director Gregory Bayne cast Emily as a waitress instead, but the scene was later cut. Bayne then offered Emily a news reporter role which filmed in December 2008.

- Emily is a professional photographer and owns Loft 1923 in Downtown Los Angeles, a 4,144 SQ FT photo and production studio.
