Kevin Swan is 1 of 6 members in the POP group 6Piece. 6Piece first
established themselves in 1999. They signed independently to StarrWorks
Entertainment working with producer Maurice Starr, creator of New Kids
on the Block and New Edition. They were put under a extensive artist
development program consisting of vocal training, dance and press
etiquette. Recording their 1st album, "Phase1" in early 2000, their 1st
single "My First, My Last" was released nationwide on Pop radio where
it reached the #3 spot in many cities over popular groups such as 98
degrees and LFO.
Shortly after, 6Piece signed to No Limit Records, now working with music producer, Master P. They began working on their second album to be release under No Limit Records with distribution through Universal Records, working with producers such as Babyface, Presidential Campaign, Armando Calone, Gary "Gizzo" Smith, KB and Speck and featured artist such as Jagged Edge, Lil Romeo and Mr. Magic on their album. They also have songs placed on Lil Romeo's album and Mr. Magic's album. They appeared and performed on many TV shows including BET, MTV, Good Morning America, Jenny Jones, Nickelodeon and ThunderBox. They recorded their second video for single "Once Upon A Time" in West Hollywood which was distributed via CD ROM in a McDonald's happy meal promotion all over the U.S. They joined the first leg of the NSYNC's "Celebrity POP" tour performing in coliseums nationally. Other artist 6 Piece performed with include Trisha Yearwood, Jagged Edge, Alicia Keys, Dream, Lil Romeo, OTown and NSYNC.
