In “El Gringo”, Scott Adkins plays an injured American (who is also fashionably unnamed, according to IMDb.com) who crosses the border into Mexico with a couple million dollars in cash and a plan to retire in Acapulco. Needless to say, things do not go as planned, and our nameless hero is forced to use his skills to kill a bunch of people and sleep with some beautiful senoritas. Or at least, that’s what I assume happens, given the action-packed nature of this poster and first image from the movie. “El Gringo” is directed by Eduardo Rodriguez, and co-stars Yvette Yates, Christian Slater, Erando González, Israel Islas, and Sofía Sisniega. Yes, Christian Slater is in this one, too, playing the bad guy. He does, after all, have a gun to the back of our hero’s head in the poster, so I’m assuming that makes him a bad guy.
