The University of Colorado is soaking up the sports spotlight. NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders leads the Buffaloes as its new coach, and with him comes the first time in the college’s history that home games have sold out, reports Colorado Public Radio.
It’s not just tickets that the former football and baseball player is selling out. After Colorado State Rams coach Jay Novell threw shade at Sanders for wearing hats and sunglasses at press conferences, Sanders played up his Blenders Prime shades and secured a deal with the eyewear brand. (Per NPR, the company scored $1.2 million in sales in one day, thanks to Sanders.)

Storm Reid doesn't care if she gets heat from the home team, she'll still be rooting for boyfriend Shedeur Sanders when the University of Colorado football team plays against her school, University of Southern California, later this year. The "Missing" star shared how she plans to support her college football playing beau during the Jan. 17 episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
Early in the interview, Kimmel asked Reid if she watches all of Sanders's games, and she answered with an emphatic yes. "I do. Whether I'm there or not, I do support," she said. "I'm just glad to have him as a friend, as a confidante, to be able to support him and he support me."
The late night host then asked what will happen when Sanders's team plays against USC, and Reid confirmed she would still be rooting for her boyfriend - even though she'll be sitting on her school's side of the stadium.

Shedeur Sanders is having one hell of a year. In addition to continuing to crush it on the field as Jackson State University's quarterback, the 20-year-old is the new ambassador for Tom Brady's sports apparel brand, Brady.
"I feel blessed being able to partner with Brady Brand. It's amazing," Shedeur tells Popsugar. Of working alongside the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, Shedeur says it's been "real easy," adding, "I basically just tell him what I like, what I don't like, and being able to have a great partnership with him, everything is always open and there's always room for ideas. There's a lot of creativity."
In a statement shared with Popsugar, Brady called Shedeur "the perfect ambassador" for his brand. The NFL star says, "He embodies everything we look for in a Brady athlete and his character and values align perfectly with our brand. Not only is he an exceptional football player and quarterback,...

Following the watershed decision from the National Collegiate Athletic Association allowing college athletes to sign endorsement deals, WME Sports has landed one of the top student players in the nation as a client.
The agency will represent Johnny Juzang, a player for the UCLA Bruins of the Pac-12 Conference, handling his name, image and likeness. Juzang, of Vietnamese descent, began his college career playing one season with the Kentucky Wildcats before transferring to UCLA.
Allowing student athletes to capitalize on their own images not only opens up massive earnings potential for individuals, but new revenue streams for Hollywood agencies in the sports arena. WME Sports also counts clients like gymnast and social media star Olivia Dunne and Jackson State football player Shedeur Sanders (son of Deion Sanders).
As a sophomore with the Bruins in 2021, Juzang was named to the NCAA All-Tournament Team and the most outstanding player of the tournament’s east region.
