- Before becoming a writer, Wendy Diane was the lead singer for the math-punk/alternative band, Five Hoss Cartwrights, which later changed its name to Test Proof Positive. They played shows with notable bands like 31 Knots, SNFU and Zeke, and toured the Pacific NW and Alaska with the stellar Canadian band, NoMeansNo.
- After high school, Wendy Diane moved from her hometown in Washington State to New York City to pursue a career in theatre. In NYC, she attended The American Musical and Dramatic Academy and The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. She also spent a summer in London at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts Shakespeare Program.
- Is the daughter of New York Times Bestselling Novelist, Linda Lael Miller.
