Can you believe The Apprentice is ten years old today? Yep, back on February 16th 2005 the UK was introduced to Suralan, Nick and Margaret and a batch of candidates hoping to become the next big thing at Amstrad.
Things have changed a bit since then - it's no longer Suralan but now Lord Sugar, the prize has changed to a £250,000 investment, and neither Nick or Margaret will be there next series. But one thing's for sure - the candidates will still be entertainingly barmy.
To celebrate The Apprentice's tenth birthday, we thought we'd take a little trip down memory lane and pick out just ten of our most memorable candidates. Obviously, there are a whole bunch that could have made it into this list, so let us know who you would have picked below! And so, in no particular order...

He has previously carried out work for Hillingdon Council.
A council spokesman told The Sun: “He has been involved in training events in the borough through Hillingdon Training Ltd, a private company.”
Lee said: “Having gained a huge amount of experience in my role at Amscreen, I felt now was the right time to start up on my own.”
Lord Sugar said: “Lee has made an important contribution to Amscreen and we wish him the best.”

The second candidate in our run of five Apprentice alumni interviews is the strong-minded red-head Jenny Celerier. The 37-year-old was one of the most controversial figures in last year's boardroom thanks to her involvement in the infamous Kosher chicken debacle and her spat with Lucinda Ledgerwood. We caught up with Jenny C to find out what's happened in the 12 months since she was fired by Sir Alan. Looking back, is The Apprentice something you're proud of?

But I was really disappointed in what actually happened when they delivered the show on television because of the editing and level of misleading editing. If I had never taken part in The Apprentice, I would have thought it was the most incredible programme on earth. Having taken part and seen what (more)...

Lucinda Ledgerwood has said that she won't rule out appearing on I'm A Celeb... or Celebrity Big Brother. The Apprentice contestant told Digital Spy: "Never say never. That's not a yes, or a no!" Ledgerwood said that despite being treated badly by fellow contestants on The Apprentice, she didn't regret entering the competition. "I've been really well received by the public, which is lovely," she said. "No matter how rubbish it was at the time, how desperately sad the experience (more)...

The Apprentice's Lucinda Ledgerwood has claimed that Alex Wotherspoon was turned away from Celebrity Scissorhands. Wotherspoon criticised Ledgerwood for appearing on the Children In Need hairdressing show, describing her as "desperate". "He doesn't stop, does he?" Ledgerwood told Digital Spy. "Alex was interviewed for the programme and didn't get the place. I spoke to the executive producer and that's why Alex is slamming it. "It's for charity and he didn't get on to it - it's sour grapes." She continued: "Michael [Sophocles] is not on the show either. That's Alex’s bulls**t (more)...
