Yaniv Elani is an editor known for his work in comedy and documentaries, many of which have screened at top film festivals and been distributed by HBO, Netflix, Hulu, and PBS. Recent work includes "Child Star" directed by Demi Lovato and Nicola Marsh, and "Mountain Queen: The Summits of Lhakpa Sherpa," directed by Lucy Walker, which was acquired by Netflix after its critically acclaimed premiere in Toronto International Film Festival. He also edited the HBO documentary "MoviePass, MovieCrash" (SXSW 2024), "Of Night and Light: The Story of Iboga and Ibogaine" (Tribeca 2023), "This Is Not Financial Advice" (Tribeca 2023), and "Rebel Hearts" (Sundance 2021). Additionally, Yaniv is a longtime editor at Dropout, formerly known as CollegeHumor, and regularly returns to edit scripted and unscripted shows including "Kingpin Katie" and "Monét's Slumber Party," hosted by Monét X Change. He is a graduate of USC's School of Cinematic Arts and based in Los Angeles.
