- Actor
Ed was born in San Bernardino California on May 21, 1949. He was
adopted by the Bramlett's and never knew his birth parents. His
adoptive parents filled his life with extensive travel, education and
exposure to the arts which developed Ed into a very inquisitive young

railroad & train history, classic cars, music, art, & flying. He earned
his private pilot's license in his 20's. As a "World Citizen" he was
genuinely interested in all peoples from all nations and fascinated by
their cultures. He attended the University of Arizona in Tucson
studying aeronautics & science in preparation to join the space program
as an astronaut. Though his draft number was never called, the Vietnam
War changed Ed's life course. He began a career in business as Vice
President of Sales and R&D at Bronson Pharmaceuticals and worked with
notables in the health industry, such as Linus Pauling (Nobel Peace
Prize recipient) to formulate high quality health supplements. He then
became fleet manager at Bewley Allen Cadillac. Ed consistently earned
Cadillac's highest awards & recognitions, the pinnacle being that
General Motors chose Ed to be Cadillac's California sponsored the race
in the mid 1990's. Ed retired from the business world in the mid 1990's
and pursued what became his true passion....Acting! He became a SAG
member and began to build his credits in TV and movies, with roles in
Desperate Housewives, The Aviator, Anchorman, and leading roles in TV's
Untold Stories of the ER. Although his health was failing in 2009, he
volunteered at the San Bernardino Train Museum and loved playing pool
with his new friends in the La Verne Foothill Terrace Mobile Park that
he loved. Many at the park never knew the vibrant ED who had live life
so fully.
