Billy Livsey is an international songwriter/musician/producer from Nashville, Tennessee after having spent many years living and working in the UK. Among his many accomplishments, Billy has worked with a wide variety of artists cutting across all genres of music; from Pop, R&B, Americana, Indie, to Jazz and Country. Icons such as Tina Turner, Ronnie Lane, Leo Sayer, Gallagher & Lyle, Tanya Tucker, Michael McDonald, Travis Tritt, Brendan Benson, Rodney Crowell, and Pete Townshend have benefited from his session musician expertise. His writing credits are equally as varied with songs recorded by George Strait, Lorrie Morgan, Anita Baker, Paul Young, The Weather Girls, Rod Stewart, Ronnie Milsap, Paul Carrack, and Ronan Keating to name a few. Billy's chart hits include a country #1 for Mark Chesnutt ("Almost Goodbye") and UK top five hits for Five Star ("System Addict" and "Rain or Shine"). He also played the memorable solo on the Grammy winning song of the year for Tina Turner "What's Love Got to Do With It".
In addition to the above Billy has credits for film and TV music including "Breakfast on Pluto" starring Cillian Murphy and the TV series "Sons of Anarchy" as well as Richard Hammond's "Crash Course" for the BBC. His latest is a credit for a song in the UK thriller "I Care A Lot" starring Rosamund Pike. In 2020 and 2021 he began working with filmmaker Frederick Taylor of Tomorrow Pictures after having done the music to his mini-documentary online series called "Trump's Children" and 2021 release, "Where is America the Beautiful".
