Mick has enjoyed great success in creating long-running network series', playing a key role in the development of both Antiques Roadtrip and Cowboy Trap for the BBC. He has also developed and Exec-produced series for ITV, Channel 4, Five, Sky, the BBC and Discovery, such as Frankie Boyle's Tour of Scotland, Inside Barlinnie with Ross Kemp, Prison: First & Last 24 Hours, Missing Children and Walking the Amazon. Mick has been the Executive Producer on a number of award-winning and critically-acclaimed landmark documentaries and series. Piper Alpha-Fire In The Night, which was produced for BBC2 and had a cinematic release, won the BAFTA Scotland award for Best Documentary as well as an Edinburgh International Film Festival Award. Dunblane: Our Story also won the BAFTA Scotland Award for Best Documentary. The series Yes/No: Inside the Indyref also won a Bafta Scotland Award for Best Specialist Factual Programme. Mick also produced the recent Feature Documentary Killing Escobar.
