Angelo Schuurmans was born in Oss, the Netherlands. In 2008 he
completed his BFA at the Dutch Academy for Film & Television in
Amsterdam. In 2011 he finished the 2,5 year acting program at the
prestigious Stella Adler Conservatory in Los Angeles. Raised bilingual,
he is a native Dutch and English speaker and also fluent in German
(plus numerous dialects). Angelo made his debut in the US horror short
Quietus (2008) directed by Dusty Lee Depree , (starring Yvonne Zima and
Azure Parsons) which screened at several festivals throughout the US
and was officially selected for Hollywood Screamfest 2009. His various
US stage credits include the lead role of Buddy in Truman Capote's A
Christmas Memory (2011) directed by Academy Award winner Milton
Justice. Angelo starred in the play Blind Date (2010) in the lead role
of Thomas directed by Mexican actress Monica Huarte. He played
the lead role of David in the play Fubar by Karl Gajdusek , directed by
May Quigley Goodman. He lives in Amsterdam the Netherlands as an activist working for a foundation he founded in 2016. He just wrapped shooting the visual effects film 'EVAC'.
