Horia Zugravescu

Son of the painter Mihaela Zugravescu and justice Pästorel Zugravescu.
After having been selected through a public audition for the lead role
"Scatiul" ("Siskin"), partner to "Babuscä" ("Rudd"), in the children
adventure movie "Aventurile lui Babuscä", Horia Zugravescu impressed by
his natural charm and handsome looks, thus becoming the best friend of
his main fan, the future director Mihnea Columbeanu. Soon after, Horia
finished his studies at the School No. 24 in Bucharest and moved on to
the famous "Gheorghe Lazar National College". As a high-school student,
he became a popular folk music singer and guitar-player. In 1980, he
started his University studies as an engineer, and after taking his
degree, he began his professional career in the oil and gas industry in
Romania. Since 1990, he moved to the US, where he changed his name into
Daniel Zugris, and has worked in the environmental industry, serving
both government and private clients. He holds a Master's degree in
Environmental Engineering and Management from Johns Hopkins University
in Baltimore and a Master's degree in Geological and Geophysical
Engineering from the University of Bucharest, Romania. Mr. Zugris is a
Professional Engineer registered in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania,
and Arizona.
