Eugene Izraylit is a multiple award-winning Russian American screenwriter, director and producer who most recently released two successful series, "The Gig" (2022) and "Passangers" (2020-2022), on the international streaming service START.
In 2015, Eugene wrote and directed "In Putin we Trust", a documentary for the French-German television channel ARTE which dissected the effect of government propaganda on Russian citizens.
In 2019, Eugene wrote and directed a multi-lingual short film set in Paris called "A Man Never" and in 2021, he wrote and directed a Nairobi set social drama short film called "View from Above". Both films were screened at numerous festivals around the world, including Torino Underground Film Festival, Cinefort, Filmets Badalona Film Festival.
Eugene has recently completed a feature length comedy about London in the 60's called "The Pleasure Principle" for Access Entertainment ("I, Tonya", "Tetris", "Zone of Interest"), as well as adapting Guzel Yakhina's award-winning "Convoi to Samarkand", and is currently developing other original stories both in feature length and series formats.
