- Paul Sinacore (CSA, Television Academy) is an award winning casting director and producer. A lifelong musician and entertainer, his career in front of the camera began in 1996 as a journeyman SAG actor and his extensive on set experience has organically grown into a career behind the camera as a casting director and producer.
Paul Sinacore Casting is a unique brand, bringing an unparalleled personal touch, awareness, and sensitivity to casting while connecting directors to talent. Sinacore utilizes his formal UCLA education in social psychology and cultural anthropology to inform his casting process. An expert in person-centered interviewing, Sinacore was lead research interviewer for extremely sensitive documentary projects for directors Errol Morris and Emmanuel Lubezki. Sinacore is cognizant to the issues of diversity, inclusion, and well-being in an ever changing industry. As a member of the CSA Equity in Entertainment and Commercials Committees, Sinacore fosters solidarity in the acting community and strengthens relationships on both sides of the camera.
Sinacore is the current Chair of the UCLA ASC Alumni Executive Board Advisory Committee.
With nearly 30 years of experience working closely with the industry's top executives, directors, producers, ad agencies, and talent representatives, Sinacore is a true "hyphenate" as an independent filmmaker who usually accepts multiple roles in productions and does what it takes to achieve the end result while protecting his investors, talent, and crew.
Gaining extensive experience as a casting associate working as the direct point of contact with production companies and distributors such as Smuggler, MJZ, Anonymous Content, Biscuit Filmworks, and Iconoclast, Sinacore has had the privilege of working with directors such as Paul Hunter, Ian Pons Jewell, Lance Acord, Peter Lang, Mark Romanek, and Spike Lee, among others. In the commercial world, Sinacore played a crucial role in casting many Super Bowl commercials, working with clients such as Apple, Nike, Facebook, Macy's, McDonald's, and Budweiser among others. On the music video side, Sinacore was instrumental in casting Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop The Feeling!," Beyoncé's "Hold Up," and 2019 Video Music Awards Song of The Year, Lil' Nas X's "Old Town Road" featuring Billy Ray Cyrus in which he worked directly with acclaimed director Calmatic.
Sinacore casts the reboot of the classic series Unsolved Mysteries for Netflix, and Eli Roth Presents: The Legion of Exorcists for MAX, Discovery+, and Travel Channel.
