Everyone's favorite Scottish singer, songwriter, and musician Lewis Capaldi is opening up about his love life. Capaldi, 26, has been pretty secretive about his romances, but at the Brit Awards in February, he was spotted cozying up to Ellie MacDowall. In an April 2023 interview with BBC Radio 2, Capaldi - who released his "How I'm Feeling Now" documentary earlier this month - opened up about their relationship for the first time.
Per Cosmopolitan, while discussing his new single "Wish You the Best" with host Scott Mills, Capaldi explained the song's meaning, saying, "All you say is, 'good luck, I'm really happy for you,' but actually you are dying inside and want to tell them all the things you miss about them and why they should stay with you, so it's just a really happy song for the summer."
Mills then asked Capaldi if he's in a rush to settle down.

Put away the thermals and dust off the fake tan – Love Island is back to blow away those winter blues.
Less than half a year after the 2022 series came to an end in Mallorca, the ITV2 dating show is returning for a winter edition.
A winter series of Love Island hasn’t aired since 2020, when Paige Turley and Finn Tapp found romance in the South African villa.
However, this year, a new bunch of singles will be jetting off in hope of getting some off-season sun and maybe, dare we say it, some love.
It’s not just the time of year that sets this series of Love Island apart. The show will have a brand new host, while new protocols are in place to protect the contestants.
These include the islanders pausing their social media accounts for the duration of their time on the show (as opposed to being...

Lewis Capaldi was tasked with bringing the power ballad vibes to the Brit Awards on Tuesday night, and, of course, he delivered. Capaldi was nominated for four awards, and won his first-ever Brit Award for best new artist, so he definitely had a big night.
Capaldi chose to perform his smash hit "Someone You Loved," which, until recently, was rumored to have been written about Love Island contestant Paige Turley, who is also his ex-girlfriend. However, he put those rumors to rest quickly in an interview with [V] Australia, saying the song was actually written about his late grandmother.
Capaldi's next round of live shows kick off in Manchester on March 8, and his performance at the Brit Awards was a little taste of exactly what we can all expect from his tour.
