Born and raised in Paris and currently residing in Los Angeles, Daniel Wohl's critically acclaimed music blends electronics with acoustic instrumentation to create a greater organic whole. His work ranges from concert music for chamber ensembles and orchestras to music for film and television. He has received praise as one of his generation's "imaginative, skillful creators" (New York Times) making music that is "beautiful...original" (Pitchfork).
Performances of his concert music have been held at the Broad Museum, MASS MoCA, the Hollywood Bowl, Carnegie Hall, by ensembles such as the Cincinnati Symphony, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, The London Contemporary Orchestra, and the Calder Quartet.
His work for film and TV include Search Party for HBO Max, On The Come Up for Paramount, Tales of The Walking Dead for AMC, They'll Love me When I'm Dead for Oscar winning director Morgan Neville, and Project Blue Book for producer Robert Zemeckis.
His latest album Etat was recently released on Nonesuch and New Amsterdam Records.
