“Queer Eye” has its “Fab Five” and the crew of Hulu’s “Living for the Dead” ghost-hunting show have nicknamed themselves the “Spooky Bitches,” co-executive producer Rena Lombardo of Scout Productions told TheWrap ahead of Wednesday’s series premiere.
The paranormal show is from executive producer Kristen Stewart, who brought the idea for the series to Scout with her friend C.J. Romero, who also serves as an e.p.
Described as a sort of “gay Scooby-Doo,” it was a natural fit for Scout Productions, whose shows include Netflix’s “Queer Eye” and HBO series “Legendary.” In each episode, the cast visits notoriously haunted locations around the country and commune with both the the dead and the people whose lives have been disrupted by the ghostly happenings.
Assembling the team of experts once the show was picked up was a “magical” process for Lombardo. The five-member team is comprised of tarot card reader Ken Boggle,...

The Osbournes, the heavy-metal family that wowed MTV viewers nearly two decades ago, are set to stage a partial reunion on Travel Channel.
Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne will join their son, Jack, for eight hour-long episodes of “The Osbournes Want To Believe,” a series that has Jack Osbourne trying to convince his parents of the veracity of shocking clips of purported paranormal activity. In the series premiere, Jack Osbourne shares video footage of poltergeists, haunted dolls, UFOs and unidentifiable beasts. The show debuts Sunday, August 2 at 10 p.m. eastern.
“We see if I can poke at my parents” over such things as ghosts and UFOs, says Jack Osbourne, in an interview. With families hunkering down due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, he says, his family’s schedules freed up time so his parents could take part in the project – largely conducted in their home. “It’s actually...

Travel Channel has ordered a new ghost-hunting series, “Ghost Brothers: Haunted Houseguests,” TheWrap has learned exclusively. We’ve also got the first promo, which includes the perfect teaser line for this sort of thing, “What the heck is goin’ on in y’alls house?”
Lifelong best friends and ghost hunters Dalen Spratt, Juwan Mass and Marcus Harvey will respond to pleas from families experiencing paranormal activity in their homes. Traveling across the country to answer the calls for help, the trio moves right in to embed themselves with eight different families for a weekend slumber party, according to Travel Channel. The goal is to investigate each family’s paranormal claims and bring peace to the home’s inhabitants, both the living and the departed.

Discovery’s Travel Channel is searching for ghosts following its rebrand rather than focusing on traditional travelogues.
The network rebranded at the end of last year with a new logo – Trvl – and has launched a raft of paranormal series including Ghost Adventures, Haunted Live, specials including Chris Jericho: Monster Hunt and month-long event Ghostober.
Its latest series is Portals to Hell starring Jack Osboune and paranormal researcher and investigator Katrina Weidman.
Travel Channel boss Jane Latman told Deadline, “You can see from the logo that we’re trying to redefine what travel is for today’s audience. We have a saying in our development room which is ‘if you can find it on YouTube or Yelp, let’s not make a TV show about it’. We’re really trying to redefine the brand for today.”
Osbourne also joked to Deadline, “We also went to eight different cities.”
