Geoff Morton(I)
- Art Department
Born in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada in 1973, Geoff took an early interest
in writing and art ("Words and Pictures" as he points out on his
website). After writing some short stories and an aborted novel attempt
as a pre-teen, Geoff settled in on drawing, specifically the world of
superheroes from his beloved Marvel Comics collection and the fantasy
milieu of his Dungeons and Dragons games.
In the 90s, Geoff followed his visually artistic bent into the graphic design field, which became his daytime career. However, the writerly urges were lurking, and in '99, he fell in love with writing all over again and started studying the art of screenwriting and film.
Over the years, he's written a number of screenplays and has been in the conceptual stage of taking his latest, Atlantic, and turning it into a graphic novel, generating character designs, concept art and posters as part of the process of finding the visual identity of the story.
Geoff's real-life career pulled him down to Toronto in 2013 where he plies his design trade during the day.
