Knight Berman Jr.
- Composer
Knight Berman Jr is an Alabama-born songwriter/composer who lives on
the Jersey Shore. He records music of a very independent and usually
whimsical nature under the moniker The Marble Tea. Three of his
recordings were featured in the popular children's video release
"LittleWalks NY" and he continues to release freely downloadable songs
every month on his blog.
The debut release by The Marble Tea - "I'm Batman" - was selected as CD of the Year by the IndepenDisc Music Club in 2004.
Berman composed the theme song for an animated version of Mark Buford's comic strip "Good Dog/Bad Dog," which was viewable online, and he recently completed the scores for a series of short films by the New Mystics Theatre Company, based in West Virginia and New Jersey. "Megahertz" is his first feature-length score.
