- Received multiple awards for humanitarian work. Served as humanitarian ambassador in the Netherlands (2008-2010). Also received an Honorary Medal from the Netherlands Public Broadcasting television station.

- In 2013, Georgina Lara Booth was awarded The International Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Award by UK Prime Minister David Cameron, which is the most prestigious accolade a young person aged 9-25 can receive for their social action or humanitarian work. She was the first person from The Netherlands to receive this highly prestigious humanitarian award in honour of the late Diana, Princess of Wales.
