The only direction this guy's going is to jail. Police in Waterbury Connecticut have confirmed to E! News that a 45-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly posing as One Direction singer Harry Styles in order to entice underage girls into performing sex acts online. Per the arrest warrant obtained by the Waterbury Republican American, John Eastman used the screen name Harry.Styles888 on Skype as well as photos of the 19-year-old boy bander to persuade the minors to undress and pose naked. Authorities were put on his trail by parents of three girls who engaged in a web chat with the imposter. Investigators subsequently interviewed Eastman late last year and he voluntarily handed over his...

It’s no secret that ladies love Harry Styles, however one man took advantage of the One Direction singer’s popularity and posed as him on the internet.
Waterbury, Connecticut resident John Eastman is accused of tricking underage girls into performing sex acts online in return for 1D concert tickets, and he told them he was the British boy band hunk.
Eastman used the Skype handle Harry.Styles888 for the scam, requesting the underage victims pose naked and perform other sexual activities, all while he recorded it with his web cam.
For the time being, John is being held on $500,000 bond while the cops sort through his computer, said to contain hundreds of images and videos of child pornography.

In an ABC News interview, Bill Gates was asked about what he learned in scouting, and the answers made me wonder why anyone would want to be a scout. But he was also asked if the scouts should allow openly gay members, to which he responded "Absolutely." When asked why, he replied with a simple "Because it's 2013."
Dick Morris surprised everyone at Cpac by slamming Rep. Paul Ryan's budget, saying the entitlement cuts would cost the Republicans ten years of elections. He also said the Republican party needed to pass immigration reform and soften their stance on abortion, though nothing about gay rights.

At the TCAs, Greg Hernandez was chatting with Victor Garber about his new show Deception. After he queried the actor on a Wikipedia entry that said he was doing Smash, Garber responded that "Wikipedia is bullshit." After they parted ways, Hernandez recalled another Wikipedia entry saying Garber was partnered for 13 years to Rainer Andreesen. So he chased him down the hotel lobby and asked him. "I don’t really talk about it but everybody knows. He’s going to be out here with me for the SAG Awards.” And that is how Victor Garber confirmed he was gay.

The big news of course, is that Washington State approved marriage equality yesterday, and the governor is expected to sign the bill, which will almost certainly face a recall referendum. Having many, many friends in Washington state (including yes, Michael and Brent), I couldn't possibly be happier.
A little closer to home, Tuesday was Fairness Wv's lobby day at the West Virginia legislature, which I missed, but in a red state that is still heavily unionized, the AFL-CIO and the United Mine Workers unions came out in support of the anti-discrimination act for work, housing and renters that is currently before the state legislature.
Furry Sullivan Stapleton has been cast as Xerxes in 300: The Battle of Artemisia. If they shave his chest, it's going to be a crime against body hair and history.

New York City was a different place a few decades ago. Violent crime rates more than tripled between 1966 and 1981, and the city was nothing like the "Disney-fied," family friendly version presented today. While one might mourn the loss of grindhouse theaters during its cleanup, the city could be a pretty rough place back then.
Considering the crime rate, it's no surprise that public support was behind Bernie Goetz. The victim of a violent attack three years earlier, Goetz shot four men on the Number 2 express train in December of 1984, claiming he felt threatened by their actions. Charged with attempted murder, reckless endangerment, assault and several weapons charges, a jury convicted Goetz on a single offense, illegal possession of a firearm, and he served part of a one-year sentence.
It's also no surprise that,...

David Kohan and Matt Mutchnick have sold two comedy pilots, both of which have gay potential. Well, the first, based on two friends, one gay, one straight, has more than potential, and is based on their own lives. The second is called Help, and is about a dysfunctional fashion design family and the people who work for them. And fashion always has gays right? Well, except The Bold and the Beautiful.
The FCC has finalized a set of rules designed to help with net neutrality. In theory it would keep your ISP from throttling your connection if you use Netflix as opposed to their VOD service. In practice, publishing the rules just allows the ISPs to sue to block them.

How you regard Geraldo Rivera depends heavily on how old you are. Viewers from the 1970s might recognize his award-winning contributions to ABC’s hard-hitting news programs. A decade later, he was infamous for Al Capone’s empty vault and his broken nose from a gutter-dwelling talk-show that helped usher in an era of trash-television. Nothing if not resilient, Rivera recovered to become a cable-news fixture during the O.J. Simpson trials and the Clinton impeachment, and today, he’s the host of Geraldo at Large and a frequent contributor to Fox News’ programs. For 40 years, virtually the only thing that...

hollywoodnews.com: What a night for Ringo Starr: Paul McCartney and Yoko Ono put aside their usual differences and surprised the ex Beatle on stage at Radio City Music Hall for his 70th birthday on Wednesday night.
McCartney was a total surprise to Starr–he appeared at the end of show, strapped on a guitar and launched Ringo’s band into the Beatles’ “Birthday.” It was historic since the Fab Four never played the song live anywhere. Tonight, Ringo played drums and Radio City was like Shea Stadium in 1966. McCartney was spot-on, too. Brilliant.
Just before that, Ringo had been celebrated by a raft of stars and musicians at the end of “With A Little Help from My Friends,” his Beatles signature song. Suddenly on stage was Yoko Ono, looking grand in a white hat, and boogeying like she was half her age. At one point,...

Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, in partnership with Revolution Films, will produce a new biopic feature on "The Beatles" based on the 1972 novel "The Longest Cocktail Party: An Insider's Diary Of The Beatles, Their Million Dollar Apple Empire And Its Wild Rise And Fall, by author Richard Dilello.
The rock history book, following The Beatles from their 1967 heyday to their breakup in 1970, was published in 1973 by Playboy Press, then reprinted in 1981 and 2005.
The title is a reference to the habit of entertaining members of the media with expensive drinks, luncheons and perks.
Dilello served as 'house hippie' (Client Liaison Officer) from 1968 to 1970, becoming acquainted with each of the Beatles, their wives, girlfriends and the inner circle of agents/managers, who worked with Apple, including business manager Allen Klein, attorneys Lee and John Eastman, road managers (and Apple directors) Mal Evans and Neil Aspinall, press agent and author Derek Taylor, members of Apple bands Badfinger,...

John Eastman (Robert Ginty) is a Vietnam Vet (aren’t all the best revenge movie / vigilante hero’s?) and when his best friend, Michael Jefferson (Steve James,) who saved his life out in The 'Nam is attacked and left paralysed by a gang of vicious street punks, Eastman decides to even the score.
The film starts off with its heroes fighting the Vietcong in the Vietnam war. After a vicious gun battle, Eastman, Jefferson and another comrade are captured and taken for interrogation. During the interrogation the 3rd comrade has his head hacked off in a surprisingly gory film moment, Eastman is next up for the chop, luckily Jefferson gets the drop on his guards and takes them down, machine gun blazing.
Back in New York, Eastman and Jefferson are honest Joe’s making a living from blue-collar factory jobs. An encounter with some thieves at the factory sets off...
