Jacqueline Cook(II)
- Writer
Jacqueline Cook was born in Sydney, Australia, the middle of three
children. She wrote poetry and short stories from the age of eight, and
read books voraciously. Intrigued as to how a script was transformed to
the big screen, she took a short course in screen writing and fell in
love with the process of movie storytelling. She's been scribing madly
ever since with a particular fondness for drama. She is also the
published author of The Real Great Escape, which tells the story of the
daring tunnel escape by Allied officers from Germany's Holzminden POW
camp during WWI (Random House Australia, 2013).
