After the producers found out about her pregnancy, which occurred between the production of the third season, they fired her from the show, claiming that it would confuse the audience if her character would suddenly have a visible baby bump. Her character was then recast with
Sophie Colquhoun. Following this, she filed a lawsuit against the producers for discrimination. She won the case and was awarded a £11,000 payout.
