What's the perfect appetizer for Thanksgiving dinner? A Kanye West show, of course. The Chicago Mc will perform during the 2010 Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, along with pop stars like Jessica Simpson and Juanes, according to The Associated Press.
Folk singer Arlo Guthrie, R&B legend Gladys Knight, boy band Big Time Rush and singer Victoria Justice will also take the stage during the annual production. While the mix of performers might seem strange to some, Orlando Veras, a spokesman for the Holiday ritual, said it's all part of Macy's master plan.
"We want to make sure we are capturing people who are in the zeitgeist," Veras told the AP, before assuring any who may be worried that all of the performances will be "family-friendly."

Glee is so hot right now it is no wonder the stars were to be featured on a Thanksgiving Day float during the 82nd Anunual Macy's Day Parade. Fans were overjoyed -- dare we say, even gleeful -- picturing Rachel (Lea Michele), Finn (Cory Monteith), and Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison) busting out with an amazing mashup prepared just for the holiday event. It is being reported that NBC, the network that airs the parade has cut Fox's Glee float from the festivities. Yes, we understand that you are super bummed, but we have found even cooler news that makes the Macy's Day Parade look like child's play. Spirit fingers are being pointed at NBC this week after they announced they will be canceling the Glee float after the cast had already planned their trip. Many are speculating that NBC does not want to sponsor and promote another network during the Macy's Day Parade.

A source has confirmed to EW.com that the organizers of Macy's annual Thanksgiving Day parade were instructed by NBC, which broadcasts the event, to rescind an offer for the cast of rival network Fox's hit series Glee to perform in the parade. (TMZ first reported the story.) Fox and NBC had no comment.
