Natalie Krikowa (she/they) is an Australian screenwriter, producer and director who shares her time between academia and creative practice. She resides in Sydney, Australia where she works as a senior lecturer in media studies at the University of Technology Sydney. She is best known for her work on The Newtown Girls (2012) as a creator, writer and producer and is the writer and director of the theatrical play, All Our Lesbians Are Dead! (2017) Most recently she produced and directed the online interactive documentary Queer Representation Matters (2023). She is an advocate of queer cinema, with previous productions garnering recognition world-wide.
