- Don Cano is a proud Texan born and raised in Dallas and is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. From an early age he loved performing, being a part of the children's chorus and performing in the Dallas Civic Opera. He performed in such operas as Carmen, La Boheme, and Pagliacci. He even had the opportunity to be directed by the legendary John Houseman.
He gave up performing for a while, but he never lost that bug for acting and performing. Several years later, he began performing again in local stage theatre, television commercials, and industrial videos. He studied the craft of acting wherever and with whomever he could. He eventually made his way to New York, training at the acclaimed American Academy of Dramatic Arts. All this effort and training led to work in commercials, film, and television.
In addition to his training as an actor, Don holds two college degrees. He earned his undergraduate degree in Information Systems graduating with honors and earned his MBA with a finance concentration, also graduating with honors. Don has worked in the IT field as a developer, systems administrator, database administrator, and project manager. - Being a big fan of Ritchie Valens, he has visited the site of the plane crash outside Clear Lake, Iowa that took the lives of Valens, Buddy Holly, and The Big Bopper (JP Richardson).
