Christopher LoDuca is an Actor/Director known for writing, directing,
and producing Stealing Kisses (2007).
Chris (as he is known) is originally from Hales Corners, WI - a suburb of Milwaukee where he first started his acting career. From there he moved to Chicago where he was very active in the theatre scene. Most notably, he was in the Stephen Sondheim American Premiere of "Saturday Night" with Pegasus Players. He also appeared as Barry Bochman in the Allen Sherman Musical "Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah" at the Appollo Theatre.
In 2001, Chris moved to New York City, appearing in TV and Film. Chris Married Kimberly Phillips - his girlfriend of 2 years - in 2003. At the time, he was working as a designer for SpotCo - a Broadway Ad agency known for their work on Rent, Avenue Q, and Chicago amongst many, many others.
In 2005, his wife Kim was diagnosed with MS. This forced the couple to move back to Chicago to be closer to family. There, Chris worked on Stealing Kisses (2007) and directed a large-scale production of Damn Yankees with Metropolis Theatre in Arlington Heights, just outside Chicago.
Eventually, Kim's MS worsened and Chris left the world of film and TV to work more consistently in advertising - primarily as a video director/editor and eventually as a Digital Producer. This allowed him to better care for his ailing wife, especially when she was home-bound and totally dependent on others.
In 2009, Chris and Kim decided to move back to New York city. As of this writing (2014), Chris is again pursuing work in film and theatre as his wife has seen an amazing recovery.
