- Ariane grew up in Chappaqua, N.Y. She studied performing arts and design at Horace Greeley High School and graduated from The State University of New York at Albany's Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy. After graduation, she was a Legislative Fellow for the NY State Senate. Ariane received an Masters in International Relations from the University of Amsterdam in The Netherlands.
Performing in Europe for a year, she then went on to study acting and writing at the New School for Social Research's MFA program with the Actors Studio East and Yale School of Drama in London (BADA).
While she was a Cataloguer at ABC News, her first Off-Broadway Play, Trials of the Fire, premiered in NY. She then moved to Los Angeles to pursue film studies at AFI Conservatory as a Screenwriting Fellow. She produced a variety of late night talk and comedy sketch shows for local TV in Los Angeles, as well as Stand-Up Shows. Ariane is a member of SAG-AFTRA, WGA-W and ATAS.
Ariane is the daughter of Theo Georg Kamp IV from Holland and Germany. Her father, Ted was one of the co-founders of The Committee of Homeland Security after the attacks on 9/11, Commadore of The Coast Guard Auxiliary in Westchester County, New York, a professional race car driver as well as yachtsman and member of The Corinthian Yacht Club.
Ariane learned to drive at the age of 2 and became a sailing instructor at the age of 13.
