I will mention first and foremost that I have never been a fan of this series. When Eli Roth was at the helm, I thought Hostel was gimmicky and cheap, playing off the success of gore driven movies like Final Destination and Saw. I have always liked the idea of the Elite Hunting Club and the kill scenes were very good, but I just thought the movies had little substance. Obviously most of you don’t think the same or the films would not have gotten the blockbuster success that they have. Even with all that, it was no surprise that Roth would leave the franchise and the next film would get a straight to DVD release.
The next installment, Hostel: Part III stars Kip Pardue (Remember The Titans), Brian Hallisay (Bottoms Up), and John Hensley(Nip Tuck). Directed by Scott Spiegel (Intruder), Hostel: Part III involves Pardue taking Hallisay...

When the recipe calls for "torture porn," Eli Roth seems to be the first go-to name on everyone's list due to his work with the Hostel franchise.
Though it is a film full of gratuitous nudity, ultraviolent gore and unflinching profanity that has garnered a lot of flack from critics over the years, I still enjoyed the first Hostel enough to check out the sequels and bear the crosses of their disappointments. The idea of going backpacking in Europe and being kidnapped by hostile foreigners is a really clever and frightening concept; part of the effectiveness of the original two films was the forbidding, unfamiliar terrain of eastern Europe, where the government is lax and the people can get away with murder.
When I saw the trailer for Hostel 3, I wasn't overly impressed.

Hostel: Part III is the latest in a franchise that was labelled "torture porn," by one reviewer. There is less torture in this second sequel and more prostitutes, double-dealings and betting on murder instead. To release on DVD December 27th, Hostel: Part III is a fun time spent in Las Vegas with four friends out to have fun. Well, one friend is out for murder, but three out of four searching for good times is not bad. A tense thriller, this latest picture will satisfy most horror fans while those searching for "torture porn" will be left saying: "where is the bloody beef?"
Mike (Skyler Stone), Justin (John Hensley), Carter (Kip Pardue), and Scott (Brian Hallisay) meet up in Las Vegas after giving their wives or significant others the slip. Soon, they meet two call-girls, Nicki (Zulay Henao) and Kendra...

Ever watch "American Idol" and think, "You know, I like watching amateurs perform, but I wish I could watch them sing four seconds of a Beatles song surrounded by oversized props on a hydraulic-enhanced stage"? Well, Wednesday night's (February 23) new Vegas round episode was just for you.
It was supposed to be a full two hours of people saying they've never heard of the Beatles, Steven Tyler waxing poetically about living in "Beatle Land" and awkward Seacrest interviews set in a makeshift Coca-Cola/Ford room that got integrated marketing execs horny. But then Jennifer Lopez had to go and have a meltdown when she told Chris Medina that he wasn't good enough to be on the show and producers said, "Eh, let's chop out that boring Vegas singing part. Who watches 'Idol' for the music anyway?"
Perhaps that's why the Vegas-set half of Wednesday's super-sized episode often felt...

And then there were 50. If you thought Wednesday night's "American Idol" was harsh, the final night of Hollywood Week really brought down the hammer.
Unlike the previous night, when the show dithered away with group dynamics, Thursday night's (February 17) show jumped right into it, presenting what host Ryan Seacrest promised was one of the most talented group of Hollywood finalists ever assembled. And, for once, he wasn't just blowing smoke, as some of season 10's standout singers brought it and punched their ticket to next week's Vegas round.
Haley Reinhart, 20, barely made it through the previous round after forgetting her lyrics, but the 20-year-old Wheeling, Illinois, student was back on track Thursday night, growling out a gritty and bombastic "God Bless the Child." Though...

So far, this season has been great. I was apprehensive at first over the addition of another team member, but Jesse has quickly proven himself worthy of working with Michael, Sam and Fiona. When we last saw our team, they were figuring out a way to sneak Jesse to the Bahamas... let's see how that worked out for them.
Spy Observation (flying over the white beaches of The Bahamas): Spies spend a lot of time traveling, but they don't usually wind up in the most desirable of destinations.
The Bahamas - A Desirable Destination
You're much more likely to find yourself visiting a rebel camp in the Philippine jungle or a hidden bunker in the mountains of Pakistan than lounging beach side in The Bahamas. But even when you do find yourself in a vacation paradise, it is still all about business.

In a new interview, Kendra says she hopes the public “has the heart” to understand the situation and not watch it!
Kendra Wilkinson’s sex tape has officially hit the web in its entirety, and Kendra says it’s “the hardest thing to deal with right now.” On the upcoming season finale of Kendra, she finally opens up about her heartache and defends herself. At the time she and boyfriend Justin Frye made the tape she says, ”I was just a normal girl living a normal life in San Diego, California, with my boyfriend that I was going to eventually marry.”
“We had sex like every couple does, and every now and then we would videotape it,” she continues. “I wasn’t a celebrity. I didn’t even know I was going to become a celebrity.”
She says the whole situation broke her heart. “How could you do that when I have a baby?...
