This family dynasty just added one more to the family tree! Earlier this week, Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson recently found out that he fathered a child from a past affair, who is named Phyliss. As fans of the famous family know, the patriarch and his longtime wife Kay Robertson are parents to four kids (who are all adults): Jep Robertson (42), Willie Robertson (48), Jase Robertson (50) and Alan Robertson (55). With all the reboots and revivals hitting the airwaves, reality fans are likely wondering, is Duck Dynasty still in production? Might we see the Robertson family on TV anytime soon? The short answer: It doesn't seem so. The long answer: A legal battle might be the reason the A&E show hasn't returned. British media company ITV bought a majority stake of Duck Dynasty production company Gurney Productions for $40 million in 2012, The Telegraph reports, and then fired founders and Duck Dynasty creators Scott and Deirdre Gurney in 2016. In the ensuing court battle, ITV alleged Scott and Deirdre acted with "stunning greed" to fraudulently inflate the profits at their company; and ITV also alleged the couple tried to expense $1.2 million of guns, jewelry, massages, vacations, and parties. Meanwhile, the Gurneys claim ITV wrongfully fired them and tried to bilk them out of a fortune, and they've claimed damages of more than $150 million.

What happened to Duck Dynasty? It's been one year since the reality show ended its run on A&E and even though we still don't quite know why it ended, we suspect family patriarch Phil Robertson might be to blame… Here's what we do know: The Robertson family revealed the show's imminent end just after the Season 11 premiere in 2016. "We've decided as a family for this to be the final chapter of the Duck Dynasty series," Jase Robertson said in the video announcement. Korie Robertson chimed in to say that the fam might be back for "a special for two," but we haven't seen the duck call-making family on A&E since the Duck Dynasty's series finale on March 29, 2017. Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson Releasing A Bible
The Duck Dynasty patriarch and his family is known for their Christian beliefs, and often preach during speaking engagements when not filming their reality show or running the family business. Last year, Phil Robertson got into trouble for revealing his anti-gay views in GQ, describing it as sinful, and the family supported his comments even after public outcry.
“Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers – they won’t inherit the kingdom of God. Don’t deceive yourself. It’s not right,” Phil told the magazine.
The many members of the Robertson family are often seen praying on the show, and many of the cast members have published books that detail their faith.

One thing you never do is criticize another man’s burger. The ‘Duck Dynasty’ bros had mad beef on Feb. 5 and had to settle it the old fashioned way — with a Deep South cook-off!
Because the guys of Duck Dynasty have conquered the world, they only have themselves to turn on now. It started on Feb. 5, when Willie and Jase Robertson took their sibling rivalry up a notch by going all Top Chef and challenging each other to a cook-off. And with the boys doing their best Emeril impressions and Uncle Si becoming Padma Lakshmi, this episode was full of memorable quotes. Here are my favorite ones.

A few things were revealed during the Jan. 29 episode of ‘Duck Dynasty’ that weren’t particularly surprising: that technology and the Robertsons aren’t best friends, and that Phil Robertson tells the scariest ghost stories.

Uncle Si’s ultimate takeover of ‘Duck Dynasty’ continued on Jan. 22, with the old geezer strapping a camera to his head to give the audience a little point-of-view action. And yes, it was just as ridiculous as it sounds.
Technology has turned on us — no one should ever have to know what it’s like to be in the mind of Duck Dynasty‘s Uncle Si. But the Jan. 22 episode went there when the bespectacled one learned what a GoPro camera was. Elsewhere, Willie Robertson and the kids had a roadside picnic (natch). Duck Dynasty returned on Wednesday night for its season five premiere, which introduced a new face in Rebecca Robertson and featured two new episodes.
Meet Rebecca Robertson
Rebecca, who was adopted by Willie and Korie 10 years ago, won them over when they fostered while she was an exchange student. Now 24, she’s flying back to Louisiana after spending two years interning in fashion in Los Angeles.
When Willie and his son John Luke pick her up at the airport, she gives her dad a pair of fashion-forward jeans.
While Korie and the women decorate the home for Rebecca’s homecoming party, Willie worries about Rebecca never moving back out of the house once she settles in and compares her to Jep. “Group texts are the worst. They’re like a terrible, technological snowball, coming down a mountain, and you can’t stop it.” – Jase Robertson
To be fair, Jase is totally right on this one.
Duck Dynasty returned to A&E recharged and fully staffed on Jan. 15, with Phil Robertson still at the head of the family, and new characters like Rebecca Robertson, Willie‘s 24-year-old adopted daughter, stepping in to shake things up. And because everyone seems to hang on the Robertson’s every word, let’s recap the premiere (and the follow-up episode) by counting down the shows’ best quotes.

Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson’s anti-gay comments sparked national outrage and resulted in A&E’s suspension of the reality TV personality earlier this week. Now, Robertson’s family is speaking out in defense of their patriarch.
Robertson Family On Phil's Anti-Gay Comments
“We want to thank all of you for your prayers and support. The family has spent much time in prayer since learning of A&E's decision,” the Robertson family’s official statement began. “We want you to know that first and foremost we are a family rooted in our faith in God and our belief that the Bible is His word.”
“While some of Phil’s unfiltered comments to the reporter were coarse, his beliefs are grounded in the teachings of the Bible,” the statement continued. “Phil is a Godly man who follows what the Bible says are the greatest commandments.… Phil would never incite or encourage hate.

How's this for timing! The same day Phil Robertson was put on an "indefinite hiatus" in light of the controversial comments he made in the January 2014 issue of GQ, the men of Duck Dynasty were named among The Hollywood Reporter's favorite Rule Breakers of 2013. In fact, series star Willie Robertson even landed the cover of the trade magazine's Dec. 27—Jan. 3 double issue. Willie, 41, isn't all that surprised that Duck Dynasty has become the No. 1 unscripted show on television. "It's a combination of the faith, the positive and the family aspect...and it's funny," he offers. Jase Robertson, 44, adds, "We're just kind of doing what we do, and people identify with...

Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson has been suspended from the hit reality show after a making a series of anti-gay and racist comments in an interview with GQ
Phil Robertson: Homosexuality Is A Sin
Phil, the patriarch of the Robertson clan depicted in Duck Dynasty, makes many shocking statements in the interview while speaking about his Christian faith. While the show focuses on semi-scripted adventures of Phil and his four sons, Alan, Willie, Jase, Jep and the fan favorite, “Uncle Si,” it does, inevitably, mention the Robertson family’s faith. However, Phil tells the magazine that A&E, the network behind Duck Dynasty, cuts out his Bible-centric views from the show. And, while everyone knows the show as a redneck, Christian, hunting fest, audiences might be surprised at just how far Phil’s faith goes, particularly regarding his views toward the “sin” of homosexuality.

The head of the Robertson clan says ‘Jesus’ was omitted from his family prayers.
When you think of A&E’s Duck Dynasty, “offensive” is probably the last word that comes to mind — yet that’s the exact word creating an issue between the show’s cast and crew. Star Willie Robertson is making waves, claiming that A&E is censoring his family’s mentions of Jesus — and that doesn’t sit well with him.
Willie’s interview was actually conducted by Sports Spectrum Magazine in April 2013, but is now making its way around the internet. Here’s what went down between Willie and the Duck Dynasty crew, in his own words:
When we prayed, we said, ‘In Jesus’ name, Amen.’ I don’t have a verse that says you must always pray in the name of Jesus, but it’s a very good idea, I think. So they would just have me say,...

With 11.8 million viewers for its Aug. 14 Season 4 premiere, A&E's Wednesday juggernaut, "Duck Dynasty" has a lot of Americans riveted to their TV sets and a lot of pundits scratching their heads about how this reality-based sitcom about an eccentric, tight-knit Louisiana clan of bearded, bandanna-ed men, along with their wives, children and family-business employees, came to captivate a nation.
For a lot of the show's Christian fans, it's become a rare place on a mainstream cable or broadcast network where they can see characters openly expressing -- and living -- their faith in a positive context.
While most of the TV time follows the Robertsons navigating their daily lives of manufacturing duck calls at Duck Commander and managing marriages, parenthood and the quirks of each other's personalities, each episode ends with the family gathering at dinner and saying a prayer.

You’ll never believe why the star of A&E’s smash hit was ejected from a swanky hotspot. It’s actually pretty hilarious!
Don’t judge a book by its beard! Jase Robertson, one of the bushy-faced stars of A&E’s Duck Dynasty, recently stopped by Live With Kelly & Michael to share a traumatizing story of what he calls “facial profiling.” And no, that wasn’t a typo.
While in the Big Apple to promote the fourth season of his hit reality series, Jase had an unfortunate run-in with a snooty hotel employee — someone who clearly isn’t one of the millions tuning into Duck Dynasty every week. Here’s the story Jase relayed on Kelly Ripa‘s talk show:
I asked where the bathroom was and he said, ‘Right this way, sir.’ He was very nice. … He walked me outside, pointed down the road and said, ‘Good luck.

When the hit A&E reality show returns Wednesday (Aug. 14) for its Season 4 premiere, the bearded ones of Duck Commander have some trouble fitting in to their tuxedoes.
