- It's such a creative field, and it's the creatives that actually have the unique ideas, the ingenious elements going for them- we hope- and yet at the same time, because it takes so much money to make movies, it is so enshrouded in technical issues, marketing issues, promotional issues, it ends up in the hands of business people, and it always has been. Hollywood was not created by Artists, it was created by industrialists.
- They make these movies then they disappear, nobody sees them because the last process is distribution: getting it into the theaters, getting it into the home video market- and If you can't secure that, you might as well not make the damn product to begin with.
