Simon Cowell has blamed recent press stories about Danyl Johnson for his lack of support on the X Factor this week.
Since Danyl first made it to the live finals of the show, claims have been made that he has bullied fellow contestants, including Kandy Rain and Stacey Solomon.
Speaking on The Xtra Factor last night, Cowell announced:
“I think I’m going to have to get to the bottom of lots of the stories that are going around, people saying he is bullying them and stuff. I don’t believe them, but I think that they have an effect and we’re going to have to clear that up.
“People just don’t seem to like him. There have been stories written about him that people are not getting on with him, and he is going to have to put his side of the story across.”...

A spokesman for Cheryl Cole has hit back at claims that the star is a hypocrite for wearing a revealing outfit on The X Factor. The Girls Aloud star sported a see-through black top and military-style jacket as she performed her debut solo single 'Fight For This Love' on Sunday night. Her choice of attire came one week after she criticised girlband Kandy Rain for showing off their bodies. The former strippers had said that they wanted to be judged for their music rather than their past. Speaking at the time, Cole commented: "You keeping saying you want to prove yourselves as singers, (more)...

X Factor rejects Kandy Rain have insisted that they had much more planned for their X Factor journey and many more tricks up their sleeves.
“We would have gone all out – we had a lot of tricks up our sleeve but unfortunately you don’t get to see it because you didn’t vote,” said Coco Lloyd told MSN.
Dance teacher Chemmane Applewhaite, 26, added: “We would have got bigger and better. We want to get people talking about what we’re going to sing and what we’re going to wear. We want to be different, and we’re not scared to take risks. We don’t want to be the same. The X Factor lack people like ourselves. We’re fearsome and fun!”
“We were feeling really upset last night, but we’ve got to see the positive in this,” said Khatereh Dovani, 24.
Azi Jegbefume added: “We didn’t deserve to go out.

Kandy Rain have become the first act to be voted off The X Factor. The girlband found themselves in the bottom two with Rachel Adedeji after the first public vote of the series. Both acts then had to perform a song of their choice to win the judges' votes. Adedeji was the first act to perform and sang 'Nobody Knows' by Pink. Kandy Rain then performed the Christina Aguilera anthem 'Fighter'. The judges then had to decide who to save. Louis Walsh did not appear on tonight's show following the death of Stephen Gately. However, his vote was transferred to Kandy Rain as he is mentoring them. Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole decided (more)...
