Seems like the injury curse has moved from Dancing with the Stars to So You Think You Can Dance. First it was Billy Bell's bloody nose, then Pauline Mata's yucky ankle injury, then Billy Bell's mystery illness, Noelle's knee injury, last week Victor Smalley required 5 stitches after partner Channing Cooke "pecked' him too hard, and now we have word that Mollee Gray has been injured.
The bubbly teenager just tweeted that she's been the latest to fall victim to the curse. See for yourself:...

Following a colorful night of performances, So You Think You Can Dance finally had a live results show (now that baseball season is over!) with America picking the bottom three couples rather than the judges -- lucky for some; bad for others. While Pauline Mata, 18, the jazz dancer out of West Covina, Calif., and the last of the tappers, Peter Sabasino, 21, from Philadelphia, were unanimously given their walking papers, a frustrated Nigel Lythgoe told the rest of season 6's dancers that they better start living up to expectations. "I'm angry!" Nigel told People backstage after the show. "When you spend the amount of time I do talking to the press and trying to be honest, and say, 'These are the best, the most diverse top 20 we've ever had,' and then I felt totally let down by the solos tonight." He then added: "I was totally disappointed. If I compare...

This morning I had the pleasure of chatting with Pauline Mata, the latest girl to be eliminated from So You Think You Can Dance. Pauline fell victim to the quickstep of death and the worst string of luck of any contestant in the history of So You Think You Can Dance. First there was the nasty, stomach turning, oh-my-god-is-that-your-ankle? incident, then her original partner Billy Bell had to drop out of the competition a day and a half before the first performance, she then lost her second partner after that day and a half and was paired with a tapper, the new cursed genre of So You Think You Can Dance.
But, don't feel too bad for Pauline Mata, who had the time of her life on So You Think You Can Dance. The experience has helped her grow as a person and a dance, and she became acquainted with an entirely new genre,...

Pauline Mata and Peter Sabasino have become the fifth and sixth dancers to be eliminated from So You Think You Can Dance. Each of the remaining 16 finalists had performed on Tuesday night's live show before the voting was opened to the public for the first time this season. Mata and Sabasino were axed during last night's results show. They had landed in the bottom three alongside Ryan Dilello and Ellenore Scott and Karen Hauer (more)...

Mollee Gray and Nathan Trasoras' devoted fan base made all the difference this week on So You Think You Can Dance. Had Mollee and Nathan's fans not voted their couple safe during last night's competition show, the bottom six would have had a different composition, and it's possible that another couple might have gone home. So who did go home tonight, how did Mollee and Nathan change the game, and which dancer might be too sexy for her own good? Here's what we learned from chatting with the judges after the top 16 results show... Tiny little Pauline Mata and tapper Peter Sabasino were sent home tonight, due to a combination of the quickstep curse, lackluster solos and what all three...

"So You Think You Can Dance" said goodbye to finalists Pauline Mata and Peter Sabasino. The two were eliminated tonight. Mata, 19, is a Jazz dancer from West Covina, CA, and Sabasino, 22, is a Tap dancer from Philadelphia, Pa. The three couples lowest in votes Ellenore Scott and Ryan Di Lello; Pauline Mata and Peter Sabasino; and Karen Hauer and Kevin Hunte. Peter Sabasino & Pauline Mata get eliminated from "So You Think You Can dance" 6 week 3. The dancers kicked off the show with a dance routine to "Warrior" part 2 song. The routine was choreographed by Dave Scott. Then,Kat Deeley made her way to the stage to introduce the judges and explain the rules of the show. She talked with judges for a while to talk further about how the show will go down from hear on out. Then they revealed that Ryan & Ellenore were in the bottom three to head into the first break. After the first break, Dominique from season three did a special segment testing people dance skills, out on the streets.

It would seem for season 6, the previous So You Think You Can Dance Twitter ban has been lifted on contestants, because the remaining Top 18 dancers continue tweeting up a storm. While this Monday has seen updates from Legacy (offering Monday advice), Mollee Gray (who wants to have some fun) and Pauline Mata (who is enjoying the sunshine), the most interesting 140 characters came from Noelle Marsh.
As we all know, Noelle sat out the Top 20 performance show with a knee injury. Nigel Lythgoe and company were gracious enough to give Noelle a bye for week one (much to the chagrin of the eliminated Ariana DeBose) to wait for Mri results and see if her knee would heal. Based on her most recent Tweet and my incredible power of deduction, I would venture that Noelle will be dancing on this week's So You Think You Can Dance Top 18 performance show.
