Michael Oliver is an Emmy-winning Producer and Editor with over 15 years of experience in the entertainment industry. Oliver has won five Sports Emmys for his work on BCS, HBO 24/7, Jack Jablonski Feature, Finding Rico Harris, and The 2022 Winter Olympics. He is currently a proud member of the editing team behind FX's hit series Welcome to Wrexham, having joined the show in its second season.
Oliver began his career as a Field Producer for both Fox Sports and HBO Sports, before becoming a full-time editor in 2013. In just his first year on the job, Oliver was awarded a Sports Emmy for Best Long Form Editing for his work on Finding Rico Harris. He has since leveraged his love of sports into a wide variety of editing and producing roles on such programs as Fox Sports Live and We Are LAFC.
A Minnesota native and proud graduate of St. Cloud State University, Oliver maintains a particular passion for the sport of hockey. During his undergraduate career, he oversaw the school's Division I hockey broadcast, going toe-to-toe with Fox Sports North. Oliver additionally worked as a runner at Fox Sports for the Minnesota Vikings broadcasts each weekend, and landed a job with the company in March of 2005. Oliver currently resides in Los Angeles with his Wife and two kids
