Danielle Birrittella was born in a Hindu ashram to Catholic and Jewish
parents. She was later raised in Brookline and Newton, Massachusetts.
Danielle is the daughter of two entrepreneurs. Her father is also a
painter.
Danielle graduated from New York University and received a Master of Fine Arts degree from California Institute of the Arts.
She has appeared in films and on television (Men of A Certain Age, Surrogates, Evergreen) and was a featured opera singer in Lucky Magazine (2009) and in the Equinox Campaign, My Body My Biography (2010). As a classical singer, Danielle has performed at La Musica Lirica in Italy, La Main d'Or in Paris, The Chautauqua Institute, and at Walt Disney Hall's RedCat.
Danielle has a fine jewelry line, Ella Poe, named after both of her parents. Her designs have been seen in Vogue, Elle, InStyle, People, and US Weekly.
